Anne Berens is a highly respected supply chain expert with over 25 years of experience in global procurement, supply chain and supplier relationship management, governance, supplier diversity, product management, procurement tools and technology, product promotion, sustainability and change management.  Most notably, she was a leader at McDonald’s Corporation, ranked as a 'master' in the Gartner Supply Chain Top 25.

She holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certification and is highly skilled in defining strategy, developing procurement capability, and delivering value.  Anne is particularly adept in understanding business challenges and providing customized solutions leveraged from supplier partnerships.  Her track record of success spans a variety of sectors, including: agriculture, steel, printing, consumer packaged goods, packaging and restaurants.

Anne’s extensive background coupled with her desire to help organizations realize exceptional value through effective supply chains, led Anne to create AMB ProCures LLC; a consultancy targeting organizations that want improved effectiveness in their supply chain operations.

Anne is a lifelong learner motivated to continually expand her knowledge and experience new things.  She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Industrial Engineering and a Master’s of Science degree in Management, Strategy and Leadership.  She has also enjoyed defining educational requirements for the future, serving on the St. Ambrose University Engineering Advisory Board.
